Appletons Tapestry & Crewel Wool

We stock the complete Appletons range in both weights, every one of the 430 shades, at £1.10 a skein. Appletons pure wool is spun and dyed in England and every shade is matched across Crewel and Tapestry, so you can mix both in one piece.

  • Tapestry Wool (4 ply) – 10 m skeins for needlepoint and tapestry. One strand covers 10–14 count canvas.
  • Crewel Wool (2 ply) – 25 m skeins for crewel embroidery, Jacobean work and fine canvaswork.
