The height compensating tools for overlock or coverstitch make it easy to sew over cross seams and different heights of layers. The heights of 1.5 and 3 mm provide the compensation from finer to thicker overstitching. By sewing on, the height compensation tool is moved away from under the presser foot to the back by means of fabric feed.
